MINERAL WATER IN A FLEXIBLE PACKAGE IS EVEN CLOSER TO A REALITY
BOSSAR now offers a system to package water in pouches for larger volumes and more than a single dose. It is an attractively shaped pouch and both practical and easy to hold. The 4 holes that are punched out on the side provide a useful carry handle, and the screw cap spout is great for larger pouch sizes.
Further more the weight of the package (10g) is approximately between 2 to 3 times lighter than the equivalent PET bottle for 500ml (26g).
The film structure Amcor AquaflexTM, has received the chemical and organoleptic certificate by the Fresenius Institute and Henkel Laboratories in Germany.
This has been put into practice with the model BMK 2000 L STU 1 CV capable of running at 45 pouches per minute.
The BMK machine uses two different sets of die punches to cut the shape of the pouch, as well as collect the waste material. Filling is by means of a traditional flowmeter technology from Bopp & Reuther.
This new package use a film structure by AMCOR FLEXIBLES which can be run on BOSSAR machines and ensure that the water maintains its fresh properties inside the package.
