BOSSAR has made a new packaging application for water. It is similar to a bottle yet provides an alternative way to drink water easily without the need for spouts or drinking straws.
This has been put into practice with the model BMK 2000 L STU 2 capable of running at 100 pouches per minute.
The machine runs a film structure by AMCOR, the Amcor AquaflexTM, which ensure that the water maintains its properties inside the package. The new package style has received the chemical and organoleptic certificate by the Fresenius Institute and Henkel Laboratories in Germany.
In order to hygienically protect the bottle neck of the pouch, the BMK 2000 L STU2 has been equipped with a film dispenser unit called Clean-cap.
The Clean-cap system which has been developed by AMCOR and designed by Bossar, is a totally independent component to the machine so this technology can also be applied to other BOSSAR pouch machines.
