The cleaning and disinfection of a packaging machine in the aseptic sector is a key factor since it is a prerequisite to guarantee that product leftovers will be completely eliminated in every single corner of the filling area, the most sensitive and critical area of the machine.
The new range of machines has been designed following the ISO hygiene international rules and the EHEDG standards, to facilitate the cleaning of all elements and accessibility to all corners and therefore avoid the growth of micro-organisms. The manufacturing materials have been chose to tolerate the cleaning products and disinfection.
To protect the mechanisms, facilitate the cleaning and keep the best sterile conditions, these machines guarantee a protection level of IP 65 in the filling area.
Moreover, we have elaborated and validated a Cleaning Protocol applicable to this type of machine to ensure that cleaning procedures have been duly performed. In this Protocol, we detail how to proceed for the cleaning and disinfection of every single part of the machine and at the same time we recommend the ideal products to be used, although they may be replaced by similar products of other brands used by the customer.
To sum up: the aim is to guarantee that the machine will be able to work in a “non dirty” classified environment for the maximum time possible maintaining the safe level of aseptic throughout the product packaging process. |
